About John
- John Jacobsen is a scientist, leader and executive with more than 25 years experience in biopharma. He has successfully led drug Discovery teams to clinical candidates in multiple programs and collaborated closely with colleagues in development to ensure seamless transitions. He has led medicinal chemistry teams, cross functional project teams and Drug Discovery departments, providing guidance and mentorship to scientists and leaders. John has played key roles in collaborations with large pharma, including a partnership with GSK that led to commercialization of several inhaled medicines for the treatment of respiratory diseases. As part of an executive team, John set company strategy and supported both capital raises from private investors and through public offerings. As Chief Scientific Officer of DICE Therapeutics, he supported the diligence process that led to acquisition by Eli Lilly in 2023. He is author on 25 publications and inventor on 22 published patent applications
